World of RVs - RV of the Week

Robin Cross completed this RV-6, the third to fly in South Africa. It is owned by Robin, Ed Gordon, and Guy Havers; they call themselves RViation. In less than two months after the 8 July 1999 first flight, ZU-BSU had more than 22 hours on the hobbs. The trio bases their new airplane at Cape Town International Airport. Equipped with an IO-320 turning a Sensenich metal prop, cruise speed is 190mph. Robin writes "It performs as per specs...The three partners are still beaming with the RV grin and thoroughly enjoying the aircraft. Thanks for a great design!"
